Carver Christian Team

This was a team from Vancouver, Canada that came to serve with CFCI in March 2009. They spent a week working in Canas, Guanacaste with Iglesia Oasis de Esperanza. Since it was a high school team, we did a lot of dramas, helped with sunday school, and dug fence posts for the new property the church had bought. The church also blessed us with a tour of a tilapia plantation and a day at the beach. It was a great team that God used in amazing ways.

Kellie is a missionary with Christ For the City International and has been serving the Lord in Costa Rica since 2001. She heads of the Short-Term Ministry Department as well as Human Resources. Kellie is married to Orlando Alvarez, who is also a missionary with CFCI and is serving in the La Carpio ministry. They have a son, Lucas, who is a wonderful addition to their family!
