My CFCI Mission Trip

Short-term missions. Long-term relationships.

Venture Christian Team

Venture Christian was a team of 34 youth from San Jose, California that came to serve with us in Costa Rica. The team spent 3 days in San Jose working in different areas. They worked with a group called Food for the Hungry. Part of the day was spent doing some demo on a house and doing some cleaning. After that, the team traveled to Limon on the the Caribbean side of the country for a few days. They got a chance to really experience the Tico life by living with families. While in Limon, the team came very well prepared with different programs for the elementary schools in the area. The team made a lasting impression on the schools in Limon and I think the team went back to California impacted also.
