Soccer School:
CFCI staff in El Salvador are meeting the needs of youth through a soccer ministry designed to give neighborhood kids a way to stay out of gangs and drugs. Kids who would otherwise be out on the streets are learning to play soccer, participating in Bible Studies, and forming relationships with Christian role models. Your team can help with the ministry through offering the youth VBS lessons, games and activities, or organizing soccer tournaments or exhibition games.
Medical Clinic:
One of the goals of CFCI-El Salvador is to serve the needy of San Salvador through offering medical services to those who are unable to afford them. If you would like to put together a medical team of nurses, physical therapists, or doctors you can help our staff reach out to these impoverished communities.
Community Outreach:
The staff of Christ For the City has adopted an extremely poor community in the San Salvador area called Bendición de Dios. This community has no running water, no electricity or utilities, and the people there are in great need medical care, food, and clothes. CFCI works alongside the community bringing food, clothes, and short-term teams to the area. Teams can help by bringing Bible lessons and crafts to teach the children and communicate the gospel to them, by putting on a medical outreach in the area, or working with our staff to create new ways to bless this needy community.
Church Development:
Work with a local church in San Salvador to offer the congregation resources and training. Put together a VBS with the children, lead women’s ministry seminars or prayer workshops, or help with construction and maintenance of buildings.
