How I’ve Changed

How have you changed, had your thinking challenged, or had your stereotypes broken since you came home?

On my short term trip, I went to Bolivia for 1 year and worked in a Christian school. Not only did I feel like I had the chance to make a difference in many students lives, but God began to work in my life as well.
It was during my year spent overseas that I was reassured of my gifts and passions, which confirmed my decision to go into full time service for God. It wasn’t until I was stretched out of my comfort zone that I was able to learn specific lessons that God was trying to teach me. I strongly feel that everyone needs to go on at least one short term missions trip and experience how God will use you and work in your life.

After returning from Nicaragua for an eight day Construction/Medical mission trip, I have changed by opening up and sharing my faith more with my co-workers and customers. This change is a blessing to me.
